Ingredients

- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk 3 eggs and 1/2 cup sugar until pale and thick, about 3 minutes. Fold in 1/2 cup flour and 1 tbsp matcha until just combined.

Pour batter onto the prepared sheet and spread evenly. Bake until the top springs back when touched, about 10-12 minutes.

While the cake bakes, whip 1 cup heavy cream with 2 tbsp powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, about 2-3 minutes.
