Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp, grated fresh ginger root
  • 1.5 oz, fresh juice lemon
  • 10 oz water, cold
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

    Grate fresh ginger into a tall glass — you want about 1 tbsp loosely packed.

    Juice the lemon and pour over the ginger along with cold water and honey.

    Stir well until honey dissolves and ginger starts to release flavor, ~30 seconds.

    Fill the glass with ice and stir once more to chill.

    Serve immediately. Drink fast or strain out ginger bits if you prefer.
