Ingredients

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1.5 lbs cooked brisket, sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Whisk together ketchup, molasses, Worcestershire, and vinegar in a small bowl until smooth.

  2. 2

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

  3. 3

Lay brisket slices in the skillet in a single layer without crowding. Sear 2 minutes until edges caramelize.

  4. 4

Flip slices carefully. Sear another 90 seconds until the second side is golden brown.

  5. 5

Pour the glaze over the brisket and toss gently to coat. Cook 1 minute until sauce thickens and clings.

  6. 6

Transfer to a plate. Serve immediately with sauce spooned over the top.
