Homemade Ravioli

Fresh pasta pockets filled with a simple ricotta filling, boiled and served with your favorite sauce. This quick version uses store-bought wonton wrappers for a fast weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 24 wrappers wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

    In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup ricotta, 1 egg, 1/2 cup parmesan, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper until smooth.

    Lay 24 wonton wrappers on a floured surface. Place 1 tbsp filling in the center of each.

    Brush edges with water, top with another wrapper, press to seal, and trim if needed.

    Boil ravioli in salted water for 3-4 minutes until they float and are tender.

    Drain and serve with your favorite sauce or a drizzle of olive oil.
