- 2 slices ham
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter

Butter one side of each bread slice with the 1 tbsp butter. Place the ham and cheese between the slices, buttered sides out.

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3 minutes per side.

Press gently with a spatula while cooking to help the cheese melt. Cook until the cheese is fully melted and the bread is golden, about 6 minutes total.
