Ingredients

  • 1 lb large prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 whole lime
  • ¼ tsp red chili flakes

Instructions

    Pat prawns dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

    Heat 1 tbsp butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until foaming.

    Add prawns in a single layer. Sear 90 seconds without stirring until bottoms turn pink.

    Flip prawns. Add remaining 2 tbsp butter, garlic, and chili flakes. Cook 60 seconds until fragrant.

    Remove from heat. Stir in fish sauce and juice from the lime.
