Ingredients

  • 6 oz dark chocolate (chopped or chips)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 whole eggs
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup chocolate chunks (for baking)
  • ¾ cup whole almonds

    Melt butter and chopped chocolate together in a microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until fully melted and smooth (about 90 seconds total).

    Stir sugar into the warm chocolate mixture until combined. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until each is fully incorporated.

    Fold flour into the chocolate mixture with a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.
