Ingredients

  • 1 cup papaya
  • 1 cup mango
  • ½ small onion
  • 1 whole lime
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds

Instructions

  1. 1

Dice the 1 cup papaya and 1 cup mango into small cubes; finely chop the 0.5 small onion and 0.25 cup cilantro. Place all in a bowl.

  2. 2

Zest and juice the 1 lime, then add both to the fruit mixture. Stir gently to combine.

  3. 3

In a small dry skillet over medium heat, toast the 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds until they pop, about 1-2 minutes. Immediately add them to the chutney and stir.

  4. 4

Season with salt to taste. Let sit for 5 minutes to meld flavors, then serve. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
