Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3 tbsp Mexican chocolate (or cocoa powder + sugar + cinnamon)
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.05 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, pinch)
  • 2 whole croissant
  • 1 tbsp butter (for croissant)

Instructions

    Heat milk in a saucepan over medium until steaming, ~3 minutes. Do not boil.

    Whisk in Mexican chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, and cayenne until fully dissolved and smooth.

    Pour into a tall vessel. Use an immersion blender or milk frother to create a thick, airy foam on top, ~1 minute.
