- 450 g frozen french fries
- 200 g mushrooms
- 240 ml heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp chives

Cook the 450g frozen fries according to package directions until golden and crispy, about 20 minutes in a 220°C (425°F) oven.

While fries cook, melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add 200g sliced mushrooms and cook until browned and tender, about 8 minutes.

Add 2 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in 240ml heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes.

Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Pour the sauce over the hot fries and sprinkle with 2 tbsp chopped chives before serving.
