Ingredients

  • ½ lb pork tenderloin
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the 0.5 lb pork into thin strips and julienne the 1 carrot and 1 bell pepper into matchsticks. Set aside.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, and 3 tbsp water to make the sauce.

  3. 3

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the pork and stir-fry until just browned, about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  4. 4

In the same pan, add the carrot and bell pepper. Stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Return the pork to the pan.

  5. 5

Pour in the sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute until everything is coated and the sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions if you have them.
