Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb chicken wings, pat dry
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced

Instructions

    Toss chicken wings with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until fully coated.

    Heat 2 tbsp neutral oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering.

    Working in batches, pan-fry wings 5–6 minutes per side until skin is golden and crispy.

    Return all wings to the skillet. Reduce heat to medium.

    Add garlic and ginger, stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in soy sauce and brown sugar.
