Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- ½ medium onion, finely minced
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup lingonberry jam or jam (optional, for serving)
- 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
Instructions
- 1
Mix ground pork, minced onion, flour, 1 egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl until just combined. Shape into 12 small patties, each about the size of a golf ball, then flatten slightly.
- 2
Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it foams, about 90 seconds.
- 3
Working in batches, place frikadeller in the pan without crowding. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Don't flip until the crust forms.
- 4
Transfer cooked frikadeller to a plate. Quickly toss cucumber slices with a pinch of salt and white vinegar in a small bowl.
- 5
Arrange frikadeller on a serving platter. Top or serve alongside lingonberry jam and pickled cucumber slices.
