Ingredients
- 8 pieces (about 200g) store-bought jalebi
- 3 tbsp honey
- ¼ cup slivered almonds
- 6 threads saffron threads
- 2 pods cardamom pods, crushed
- 1 tbsp ghee or vegetable oil
- ½ tsp fresh lemon juice

Heat honey with saffron threads and crushed cardamom in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until fragrant (about 2 minutes).

Remove honey from heat and stir in lemon juice. Set aside.

Heat ghee in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 1 minute.

Add jalebi to the skillet in a single layer and pan-fry 1–2 minutes per side until edges turn golden and crispy.

Transfer jalebi to a serving plate and drizzle generously with the warm saffron-cardamom honey.
