Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt

Combine water, butter, and salt in a small pot. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Remove from heat. Stir in flour until a thick dough forms. Let cool 2 minutes.

Mix cinnamon and sugar in a shallow bowl. Set aside.

Heat oil in a deep, heavy pot to 375°F. Use a thermometer to check temperature.

Transfer dough to a churrera or piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
