Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp granulated sugar, divided
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1 cup warm water
  • ¾ cup chocolate sauce (jarred or melted chocolate)
  • ¾ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 8 oz fresh strawberries

Instructions

    Mix flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.

    Add warm water and stir until shaggy dough forms. Let rest 2 minutes.

    Heat 2 inches of neutral oil in a heavy skillet to 350°F. Check with a thermometer.

    Scoop dough into 1-inch balls using a cookie scoop or spoon, frying in batches until golden brown, ~2 minutes per batch. Don't crowd the pan.

    Remove bites with a slotted spoon onto paper towels. Toss warm bites in cinnamon-sugar (2 tbsp sugar + 0.5 tsp cinnamon mixed).

    Warm chocolate and caramel sauces in the microwave, 30 seconds each. Arrange bites on a platter with sauces, whipped cream, and strawberries.
