Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced (or partially frozen and sliced)
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1.5 tsp paprika (preferably Turkish smoked)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ medium red onion (thinly sliced)

Instructions

    Pat chicken slices dry. Toss with lemon juice, paprika, cumin, 2 minced garlic cloves, and salt and pepper. Let sit for 5 minutes.

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

    Working in batches, sear chicken 90 seconds per side until edges crisp and golden. Transfer to a plate.

    Mix yogurt with 2 minced garlic cloves, salt, and a pinch of pepper for the garlic sauce.

    Return all chicken to the skillet, toss for 30 seconds to warm through, then slide onto a serving plate.
