Ingredients

  • 4 tortillas flour tortillas (8-inch)
  • ¾ cup refried beans
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

    Spread 3 tablespoons refried beans on two tortillas, then top each with half the cheese.

    Place a plain tortilla on top of each bean-cheese stack and press gently to seal.

    Heat a skillet over medium-high until a water droplet sizzles on contact, about 60 seconds.

    Slide one quesadilla into the skillet and cook 2 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.

    Flip and cook the other side 90 seconds until the cheese melts and edges are golden.
