Ingredients

  • 1 single shot (1 oz) espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 0.06 tsp (pinch) salt

Instructions

    Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium until steam rises and tiny bubbles form at the edge, ~2 minutes.

    Pour espresso into a ceramic cup. Add sugar and a pinch of salt, stir to dissolve.

    Pour hot milk into espresso, tilting the cup and holding back the foam with a spoon until the last inch.
