- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1.5 cups sweetened shredded coconut
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup
Instructions
- 1
Cut each bread slice into 3 sticks, about 1 inch wide. Set aside.
- 2
In a shallow dish, whisk the 3 eggs, 0.5 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon until smooth.

Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook half the sticks, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp, about 4-5 minutes. Repeat with remaining butter and sticks.
- 5
In a small saucepan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons butter with 0.25 cup maple syrup over low heat, stirring until smooth, about 2 minutes.
