Ingredients
- 1.5 lb clams
- 4 cups water
- 3 green onions
- 1 red chili pepper
- ½ tsp salt

Scrub the 1.5 lb clams under cold water and discard any that are open or cracked. Set aside.

In a large pot, bring the 4 cups water to a boil over high heat. Add the clams and 1 sliced red chili pepper.

Cover and cook until the clams open, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any that stay closed.
