Ingredients

  • 2 lb apples (any variety, cored and chunked)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ whole lemon (juiced)

Instructions

    Add chunked apples, cinnamon, sugar, and lemon juice to a pot over medium-high heat.

    Stir occasionally and cook for 8–10 minutes until apples break down and liquid reduces.

    Mash with a potato masher or fork until you reach your desired texture (chunky or smooth).

    Taste and add more sugar or lemon juice if needed.

    Transfer to a bowl and serve warm or chilled.
