Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz each) canned chickpeas
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 can (14.5 oz) canned diced tomatoes
- 2 pieces kulcha bread

Drain and rinse the 2 cans chickpeas. Thinly slice the 1 onion, reserving a few rings for garnish. Mince the 2 garlic cloves.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium. Add the sliced onion and cook until soft and golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and 2 tsp curry powder, cook until fragrant, 1 minute.

Add the chickpeas and 1 can diced tomatoes with their juices. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
