Ingredients
- 1.5 cups pre-cooked pulled pork
- ¾ cup shredded cheddar or queso de mano
- 1 cup arepa flour (masa harina)
- 1.25 cups warm water
- 1 whole avocado
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- ½ cup salsa (red or green)

Warm pulled pork in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes.

Mix arepa flour, warm water, and a pinch of salt until the dough comes together, then rest 5 minutes.

Divide dough into 4 balls, flatten each into a thin disk, stuff with pork and cheese, then seal edges shut.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in the skillet over medium-high until shimmering, then pan-fry arepas 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
