Ingredients
- 8 pieces (about 2.5 lbs) chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 1 large orange, zested and juiced
- 2 whole lime, zested and juiced
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1.5 tsp cumin
- 3 tbsp olive oil

Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Season all over with salt, pepper, and cumin.

Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

Sear chicken skin-side down without moving until golden and crispy, 5 minutes. Flip and sear 3 minutes.

Add minced garlic to the pan, stir constantly for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in orange and lime juices. Scrape up browned bits. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook 4 minutes.
