Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ cup hummus
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 1 whole lemon (juiced)
  • 1.5 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix ground beef with cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and minced garlic in a bowl until just combined.

  2. 2

Divide beef into 4 portions. Mold each tightly around a metal skewer, creating a 5-inch log shape.

  3. 3

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 60 seconds.

  4. 4

Sear kebabs without moving them until deeply charred on one side, 3 minutes. Flip and sear the other side until cooked through, 3 minutes more.

  5. 5

Stir tahini with lemon juice and 2 tbsp water until pourable. Drizzle over kebabs.

  6. 6

Serve kebabs with hummus on the side, lemon wedges, and fresh parsley.
