Ingredients

- ½ cup milk

- 3 whole cardamom pods

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water, 1 inch sliced ginger, and 3 crushed cardamom pods. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium and simmer for 5 minutes until fragrant.
