Ingredients
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 tablespoon black tea (loose or 2 bags)
- 1 handful whole spices (cinnamon stick, 3-4 cloves, 2 cardamom pods, 1 star anise)
- 2 slices fresh ginger, sliced
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 1.5 tablespoon honey

Combine water, tea, whole spices, and ginger in a small pot over high heat.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes until fragrant.

Pour milk into the pot and heat through, ~2 minutes, until steam rises from surface.

Strain through a fine mesh into two cups, pressing spices gently against the sieve.

Stir 0.75 tablespoon honey into each cup and serve hot.
