Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, large, peeled and deveined
- ¾ lb smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch rounds
- 2 pieces corn on the cob, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp cajun seasoning
- 1 whole lemon (halved)

Fill a large pot with 6 cups water, add 1 tsp salt, and bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

Add corn pieces and sausage slices. Boil 5 minutes until corn is nearly tender.

Add shrimp and stir in cajun seasoning. Boil 2-3 minutes until shrimp are opaque and just cooked through.

Remove from heat and stir in butter and lemon juice until butter melts and broth tastes bright.

Divide shrimp, sausage, and corn into bowls and ladle hot broth over top.
