Ingredients

  • 1 lb lump crab (fresh or thawed)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ¾ lb andouille sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 3 ears fresh corn ears, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 tbsp cajun seasoning (store-bought blend)
  • 1 loaf, sliced french bread (crusty baguette)

Instructions

    Fill a large pot with 3 quarts water. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

    Add cajun seasoning and stir until dissolved, then add sausage and corn.

    Boil hard for 5 minutes until sausage is heated through and corn is bright.

    Add shrimp and crab. Stir gently and cook 3–4 minutes until shrimp are opaque.

    Taste and adjust seasoning. Pour everything into a large shallow bowl.

    Serve hot with crusty bread on the side for soaking up the broth.
