Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 12 oz chicken breast, diced into 1-inch pieces
  • 1.5 cups jarred alfredo sauce
  • 2 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 3 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

    Boil salted water in a large skillet, add pasta, and cook until al dente, ~8 minutes.

    Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain the pasta. Do not rinse.

    Return skillet to medium-high heat. Add chicken and cajun seasoning; sear until no pink remains, ~5 minutes, stirring often.

    Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook until fragrant, ~30 seconds.

    Pour in alfredo sauce and return cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss until coated; add pasta water a splash at a time if too thick.
