Ingredients

  • 2 oz espresso (freshly brewed or 2 shots from machine)
  • 10 oz whole milk (cold)
  • ½ tsp honey or sugar (optional)

Instructions

    Brew 2 oz espresso into a ceramic cup or mug using an espresso machine or moka pot.

    Pour cold milk into a frothing pitcher or small metal cup.

    Submerge a milk frother wand (or whisk vigorously by hand) to heat and froth the milk, ~2 minutes until foamy and 150°F.

    Pour the steamed milk into the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon until the last pour.

    Top with remaining foam and serve immediately.
