Ingredients
- 4 pieces thin beef or chicken cutlets
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 8 oz mushrooms
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 pinch salt and pepper

Season the 4 cutlets with salt and pepper. Beat the 1 egg in a shallow dish and place the 1 cup breadcrumbs on a plate.

Dip each cutlet into the egg, then press into the breadcrumbs to coat both sides evenly.

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high. Cook the cutlets until golden and crispy, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
