Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two 6-cavity donut pans with nonstick spray.

  2. 2

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.

  3. 3

In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter until smooth.

  4. 4

Pour wet ingredients into dry. Stir until just combined—don't overmix.

  5. 5

Transfer batter to a piping bag or large zip-top bag with corner cut off.

  6. 6

Pipe batter into prepared pans, filling each cavity three-quarters full.

  7. 7

Bake until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean, 10-12 minutes.

  8. 8

Cool donuts in pans for 5 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

  9. 9

Whisk powdered sugar with 2-3 tbsp milk until smooth and pourable.

  10. 10

Dip warm donuts into glaze, letting excess drip off. Set on parchment to set.
