Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch pie crust
  • 3 medium apples
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F. Press the 1 pie crust into a 9 inch tart pan, trimming edges. Chill while preparing filling.

    Peel and slice the 3 apples into thin wedges. Toss with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon in a bowl.

    In a separate bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and 4 tbsp cold butter with your fingers until crumbly.

    Arrange apple slices in the crust, then sprinkle crumble evenly over the top.

    Bake for 35-40 minutes until apples are tender and crumble is golden brown. Let cool 10 minutes.
