Ingredients

  • 6 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp sea salt flakes

    Heat oven to 450°F. Place a 10-inch cast iron skillet inside to preheat, ~3 minutes.

    Melt butter and chopped chocolate together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second pulses, stirring between, until smooth.

    Whisk sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the chocolate mixture until combined.

    Whisk in eggs and vanilla until the batter is glossy and smooth, ~45 seconds.

    Carefully pour batter into the hot skillet. Bake until edges look set but center still jiggles slightly, 10–12 minutes.
