  • 2 medium apples
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 Toppings: 2 scoops vanilla ice cream 2 tablespoons caramel sauce

    Turn the oven on and preheat it to 375°F (190°C).

    Place a small baking dish on the counter.

    Wash the apples under running water and dry them with a towel.

    Peel the apples if you prefer a softer dessert. The peel can also be left on.

    Cut the apples in half and remove the cores.
