Ingredients

  • 2 pastries pain au chocolat
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp ground coffee (dark roast)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp butter

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Place pain au chocolat on a baking sheet. Bake 6–8 minutes until the edges are golden and chocolate peeks through.

    Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium until steaming, about 2 minutes.

    Whisk in ground coffee and sugar. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into two cups.
