Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1.5 tsp Urfa chili flakes (or Aleppo pepper)
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ whole red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp chili oil

Instructions

    Mix ground lamb with Urfa chili, cumin, 1 tsp salt, and black pepper until just combined. Form into 4 oval patties about 1 inch thick.

    Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering.

    Sear lamb patties 4 minutes per side without moving — edges should look deeply charred.

    Spread yogurt on a serving plate. Arrange warm patties on top.

    Top with sliced red onion and fresh parsley. Drizzle with chili oil and a squeeze of lemon.

    Serve immediately with flatbread or rice on the side.
