Ingredients
- 2 packages instant ramen packages (flavor packet discarded)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup whole milk
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 stalks scallions, sliced

Boil 3 cups salted water in a medium pot. Add ramen noodles, stir, and cook 3 minutes until tender.

While noodles cook, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Add minced garlic to butter, stir, and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in milk, add cheese and red pepper flakes, and stir until cheese melts and sauce is smooth.

Drain ramen, reserving 0.25 cup cooking water. Return noodles to pot.
