Ingredients

  • ¾ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup fresh parsley and dill, chopped
  • ¼ medium onion, minced
  • 8 sheets phyllo dough sheets
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • ¼ tsp salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine feta, parsley, dill, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently.

  2. 2

Lay one phyllo sheet on a clean surface. Brush lightly with melted butter.

  3. 3

Place 2 tbsp filling on the bottom third of the sheet, leaving 1 inch from edges.

  4. 4

Fold in the left and right edges about 1 inch, then tightly roll the sheet away from you.

  5. 5

Repeat with remaining sheets and filling to make 8 rolls.

  6. 6

Heat 2 tbsp butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  7. 7

Working in batches, pan-fry rolls seam-side down 2–3 minutes until golden brown.

  8. 8

Flip rolls and fry 2 minutes more until the other side is golden. Transfer to a plate.

  9. 9

Serve hot sigara borek with a dollop of yogurt on the side.
