- 2 cloves garlic
- 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ¼ cup fresh basil
- ½ tsp salt

Heat the 2 tbsp olive oil in a saucepan over medium. Add the 2 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Pour in the 28 oz crushed tomatoes and 1 tsp dried oregano. Stir well and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 15 minutes.
