Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 8 oz rice noodles (thin)
  • ½ cup scallions (chopped)

Instructions

    Bring broth to a boil in a large pot over high heat.

    Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it browns, until no pink remains, ~4 minutes.

    Stir in soy sauce and fish sauce until the broth is dark and fragrant.

    Add rice noodles and simmer until tender, ~3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Taste and adjust seasoning if needed with more soy or fish sauce.
