Ingredients
- 2 piece salmon fillets
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 piece garlic clove
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 piece green onions

Whisk together soy sauce, mirin, honey, minced garlic, and sesame oil in a small bowl to make the teriyaki sauce.

Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon skin-side up and sear 3 minutes. Flip and sear 2 more minutes.

Pour teriyaki sauce into the pan. Baste the salmon as the sauce reduces and thickens for about 2 minutes, until salmon is cooked through.

Serve salmon over rice, drizzle remaining sauce over, and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
