Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 whole egg
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 lb potatoes, pre-roasted or fresh
  • 2 cups cucumber, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes (fresh)

Instructions

    Mix ground beef with panko, egg, salt, and pepper until just combined; form into two thick oval patties.

    Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium-high; sear patties 4 minutes per side until golden brown.

    Pour beef broth into the skillet around the patties; simmer uncovered 3 minutes until liquid reduces slightly.

    Stir sour cream and fresh dill into the pan; reduce heat to low and warm through 1 minute without boiling.

    While sauce simmers, warm or char potatoes and arrange fresh cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes on a platter.
