Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 4 slices brioche or challah bread, 1-inch thick
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream

Instructions

    Spread 1 oz cream cheese on two brioche slices, then top each with strawberry halves and another brioche slice, pressing gently to seal.

    Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and a pinch of salt in a shallow bowl until smooth.

    Heat 2 tbsp butter in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium until foaming.

    Dip each stuffed sandwich into egg mixture, coating both sides lightly, then place in the hot skillet.

    Cook 3–4 minutes per side until edges turn deep golden brown and the sandwich is crispy.
