Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1.5 cups water
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

    Bring water and milk to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat.

    Stir in steel cut oats, salt, and cinnamon. Reduce heat to medium-low.

    Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes until creamy and tender.
