Ingredients
- 14 oz firm tofu
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 scallions
- ½ carrot
- 1 cup broccoli florets
Instructions
- 1
Slice the 14 oz tofu into 1/2 inch thick slabs and arrange in a single layer on a heatproof plate. Set up a steamer and bring water to a boil.
- 2
Steam the tofu over medium-high heat until heated through, about 10 minutes. The tofu should be hot and slightly translucent at the edges.
- 3
While the tofu steams, thinly slice the 2 scallions and julienne the 0.5 carrot. Cut the 1 cup broccoli florets into small pieces.
- 4
In a small skillet, heat the 2 tbsp vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the scallions, carrot, and broccoli and stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.
- 5
Carefully remove the tofu plate from the steamer. Drizzle the 2 tbsp soy sauce evenly over the tofu.
- 6
Spoon the hot vegetable-oil mixture over the tofu, including all the oil. Serve immediately while warm.
