Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 24 pieces wonton wrappers
  • ¼ lb shrimp, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp scallion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced

Instructions

    Mix ground pork, shrimp, soy sauce, sesame oil, scallion, and ginger in a bowl.

    Place 1 tsp filling in center of each wonton wrapper.

    Gather wrapper corners over filling and gently squeeze at the top to seal.

    Fill steamer pot with 2 inches water and bring to a boil over high heat.

    Arrange siu mai on parchment-lined bamboo steamer tray in single layer.

    Steam over boiling water for 10 minutes until filling is cooked through.

    Transfer to plate and serve hot with soy sauce for dipping.
