Ingredients

  • 10 oz canned tuna in oil, drained
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or hot sauce
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar, sliced
  • 4 slices bread (sourdough or white)
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions

    Mix drained tuna, mayo, and sriracha in a small bowl until combined.

    Spread spicy tuna mixture evenly on two slices of bread.

    Top each with two slices of cheddar, then cap with remaining bread.

    Butter the outside of each sandwich generously on both sides.

    Heat a skillet over medium until a butter drop sizzles, ~60 seconds.

    Cook sandwiches until golden brown and cheese melts, ~3 minutes per side.
